In Chicago, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Illinois on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

This isn't your typical greasy slice joint, thankfully. It’s proper pizza that’s worth the few extra dollars. I usually swing by after work, and while it can get busy, the quality always makes up for any wait. A dependable choice for a good meal.

Title: Disappointing lunch experience and bizarre customer service I decided to stop by WP Paulie Gee’s right after they opened at 11:00 AM for an early lunch, but unfortunately, it ended with me walking out without my food or a refund. The visit started fine. The person making pizzas acknowledged me right away and said someone would be right with me. A minute later, another employee took my order for two slices and processed my payment. Because I prefer my pizza warm rather than scalding hot, I politely requested this when ordering. The employee nodded in understanding. However, a minute later, she handed me slices straight out of the oven that were far too hot to even hold. When I went back to the counter to ask for a simple exchange, the original employee wasn't there. As I was calmly explaining the situation to a second employee, a third staff member suddenly stepped in and accused me of raising my voice (which I absolutely was not) and implied I was being rude for explaining my reason for an exchange. Being wrongfully shamed and accused of being aggressive just for asking for what I actually ordered was incredibly frustrating and bewildering. Instead of arguing, I chose to

Loved the vegan pizza! They use a local vegan coconut based cheese that is so delicious! Super thin crust that is so delicious! Really cool ambience tooβ€”so casual and young. The guy behind the counter was also really cool. The pizzas are a little pricey but I think totally worth it! Some of the best vegan pizza I’ve had!

I visited this location Monday, May 4th, 2026 about 4:30pm and ordered a slice of their wicker baby, vodka roni and a Dr. Pepper for dine-in... everything was pleasant until I received my order and requested for parmesan which turned into this big deal... I was told that I couldn't get parmesan because they finish their pizzas with it already, then because they don't use cheap parmesan and it's too expensive and they don't sale it on the side either... a little odd for a pizza place who has seasonings like oregano and crushed peppers available but this was also an white staff with one trans employee in a white neighborhood and is only my experience as a Black man. Do with that information as you see fit. However - this is not a place that I can recommend to patronize

Several non-meat slice options, quickly heated and came out got, which is great. Chewy for a thin crust, slightly less sauce would have kept the crust firmer and easier to eat. Overall a positive stop.
